After defending insurance companies in personal injury litigation for 25 years, attorney Gary Doehling formed the Gary Doehling Personal Injury Law Firm, P.C. to help injury victims prosecute claims against insurance companies. Gary Doehling grew up in Los Alamos, New Mexico. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University College of Business in 1979 and received his Juris Doctor from Arizona State University College of Law in 1982. He moved to Grand Junction, Colorado after graduating from law school and had been a trial attorney in Western Colorado and Easter Utah until retiring in 2022.
Mr. Doehling represented numerous insurance carriers including Allstate Insurance, American International Insurance Group, American Family Insurance, American States Insurance, Colorado Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company, Commercial Union Insurance Company, Farmers Insurance Group, Hartford Insurance Group, National Farmers Union Insurance Company, Trinity Universal Insurance Company, USAA, and USF&G. Mr. Doehling put this experience to work for the residents of Western Colorado and Eastern Utah.

Employment
Mr. Doehling began his law practice in 1982 as an employee of the Grand Junction insurance defense law firm, Younge & Hockensmith, P.C. After working for the firm as an associate for four years, Mr. Doehling started his own solo law practice in Grand Junction. After about a year, attorney Terry Slater joined Mr. Doehling and formed Doehling & Slater, P.C. By 1994, Mr. Doehling and Mr. Slater grew their firm to a total of 7 attorneys with a general litigation/insurance defense practice. Doehling & Slater, P.C. disbanded in late 1994 and Mr. Doehling joined attorney Jeffrey Driscoll to form the Grand Junction law firm Doehling & Driscoll, P.C. This again was a general litigation/insurance defense practice. Doehling & Driscoll, P.C. was dissolved in 2007 and Mr. Doehling formed Gary Doehling, P.C. d/b/a Veritas Injury Lawyers Accident & Injury Law Firm, P.C.
