A pedestrian was struck and killed by a semi-truck Sunday morning.
Dispatch received a call at approximately 9:05 a.m. to respond to the scene of the accident near U.S. Highway 50 near 1600 Road.
When law enforcement arrived, it was determined that the pedestrian was deceased. No other injuries were reported due to the incident.
Northbound traffic was stopped and re-routed during the investigation. The investigation ended around 11:23 a.m. when the road was re-opened to traffic.
